An 8-Week Meditation Training in Applied Zen Buddhist Mindfulness, Vipassana + Brahmavihara Heart Practice.
The Mind is an Ocean, provides a comprehensive, immersive hands-on online container to train in the ‘Art of Meditation’.
This foundational and experiential step-by-step program will teach you everything you need to feel confident and competent in creating and maintaining your own personalised Vipassana practice to do anywhere on your own.
No Matter What the Changing Condition, I am at Peace
Zen Meditation is a training in transcending every transient wave of experience to find a deep sense of unmoving inner peace + freedom within that does not depend on any external changing circumstances.
What is Vipassana?
Vipassana is one type of Zen Meditation, like Samatha Breath Awareness or Brahmavihara Heart Practice. It is roughly translated as ‘Insight Meditation’.
Vipassana is the realisation that the waves of human experience, of impermanent self-limiting narratives, emotional reactivity, stress, pain, fear, ecstasy and anger, come and go, but true freedom and peace lie within the realisation that our true nature is that of the boundless, non-attached witness - the loving ocean of awareness that can hold all the waves of life, gently, compassionately, without identification.
Amongst all these waves of life, there is you, the unmoving space that is aware of each change as it comes and goes.
This is the practice of clear-seeing or Vipassana.

mindfulness is…
In Zen, the word ‘Mind’ in mindfulness refers not just to the mind, but to Heart-Mind Consciousness. It represents an equal balance of love + wisdom, and acceptance + awareness to make pure loving presence.
To have a ‘Mind like an Ocean’ means to purify your presence to embody the mindful clarity and non-attached qualities of water, so that you can live in flow with all of life.
refining presence…
Water is about refining our presence to awaken to who we really are. We go from a muddy, coarse mind to a clear, refined mind that is free from mental reactivity and suffering.
+ be like water
The Way of Water teaches us to be still, lucid, fluid, nurturing, healing + formless just like the Ocean of Pure Awareness. We will explore each of these qualities in each module of the course.

JASMINE (she/her) | IG: @solflowerseeds
Jasmine’s dharma is one of service as a direct conduit for Divine Unconditional Love, bridging the seen and unseen realms through channeled meditation transmission and vibrational translation of higher levels of consciousness.
Jasmine has spent the last 9 years cultivating the Art of Vipassana meditation, studying alongside nuns at her Mahayana Zen Buddhist Monastery. She continues her deepening of dharma and somatic heart-based therapy with a 2 year-long meditation teacher certification with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield’s MMTCP Awareness Institute and the Greater Good Science Center at the University of California, Berkeley.
Jasmine works as a space holder calling you to remember how to hold unconditional loving space for all layers of your being, welcoming all lost, messy, hurt parts of you back home to your heart. Through her connection with Kwan Yin, she guides you to unlock the sacred processes of compassionate shadow reclamation and integration, uncovering and meeting your inner child’s unmet needs. Her embodied transmissions are informed and infused with Metta + Equanimity granting you the heart resources of safety and deep nurturing to face your inner wounding patterns, transforming them and loving them back into wholeness.
She weaves her personal life experience as a Sensitive Sol with her studies and passion in Zen Buddhist Dharma and Vipassana, Tao Philosophy, Pranic Healing (chakra clearing + balancing), somatic energetics (body-awareness energy healing), sound healing + plant spirit channelling.
Jasmine, after her namesake, has a distinct resonance with flowers and their vibrational essence wisdom medicines. She connects individuals with the earth’s guidance and alchemical space holding these plant spirits wish to impart to us on their earth walk alongside our spiritual journeys.
